No one writes biographies of a bird
For who would want to read it, it would be absurd
Parrots just go about their day, by a Pirate's side
Taking every order and executing them with pride

Sometimes they get neglected,
when there's much to do on board
But Parrots will wait patiently in a corner,
until their Pirate's done of course

She'll steal glances of Pirate as he does his work
Cock her head at every one of his quirks
And sometimes fly off in search of some fun
But nothing beats time with Pirate, not a thing, no one
